RADIOLOGY
Valley Medical Group is proud to offer digital Radiology services located in each of our health centers to keep service convenient for our patients. We offer digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, and 3D Mammography. Each of our Radiology departments hold all required licenses and certifications through the State of Massachusetts Department of Public Health, ACR, and FDA. Our Technologists hold licenses with the State of Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and position specific certifications as required, through the ARRT and ARDMS.
All Radiology exams are interpreted by our consulting board certified Radiologists.
Our Mammography departments are also certified with the American College of Radiology and are registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, more commonly known as 3D mammography, helps detect early breast cancers in patients with dense breast tissue. The technology also decreases the need for patient callbacks for diagnostic mammograms requiring additional views. 3D mammography is available in Amherst, Easthampton, and Greenfield.
All VMG Sonographers are Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, each holding various certifications.
In all our Digital Mammography departments we offer early mammogram appointments. We offer same day appointments for many of our exams.
You do not need to be a VMG patient to utilize our Radiology Dept. All patients are welcome at VMG Radiology with an order from their physician.

EASTHAMPTON HEALTH CENTER:
Monday–Friday: 8:30am–5:00pm

NORTHAMPTON HEALTH CENTER:
Monday–Friday: 8:30am–5:00pm
