LABORATORY SERVICES
Valley Medical Group has patient drawing stations located in each of their health centers to keep service convenient for their patients. There is a full service laboratory located in the Easthampton Health Center, providing state of the art technologies in laboratory testing. The laboratory is licensed by CLIA and the State of Massachusetts. Our laboratory is staffed with skilled phlebotomists and medical technologists who are committed to customer service and quality. All patients are welcome at the VMG Laboratory with an order from their physician. Most insurances are accepted. The locations and hours of operation are listed below:
RESULTS FROM YOUR LABORATORY TESTS
Lab results are usually available in approximately 3 business
days for most lab work drawn at this lab. Some specialty labs
may take longer.
Lab results are published to your patient portal account as
soon as they are available. There is no notification provided
that lab results are ready on the portal, you will need to go
to your account and look. Upon review of your lab results,
a provider will only reach out to you if there is information
about your lab results that they need to share with you
(by phone call or portal message).
If you do not have a portal account, it only takes a few
minutes to register at vmgma.com.

The patient portal is not intended to replace an office visit.
It is only used for routine and non-urgent matters.
