Elizabeth Peterson, O.D.      Optometrist 70 Main Street Florence, MA  01062 413- 586-8400	Dr. Peterson graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry as a Doctor of Optometry.  Her previous experience prior to joining VMG  was working in a busy optometry practice in CT where she provided comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, treatment of anterior segment diseases including dry dry and contact lens induced, monitoring of cataract post-ops, interpretation of GDx results, Optomap photos, and visual fields.  She enjoys working with all patient populations and joins VMG in the Summer of 2008. Henry A. Lawrence III, O.D. Eye Care 31 Hall Drive Amherst, MA 01002 413-256-8561	Dr. Lawrence is an Optometrist, providing a complete range of general Optometry services including eye examinations, the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, and the fitting and evaluation of contact lenses. He graduated with a B.S. with honors from the University of Massachusetts and from the New England College of Optometry, where he earned the degree of Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Lawrence is a member of the American Optometric Association, The New England Council of Optometrists and The Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. He joined the Valley Medical Group (formerly the Massachusetts Permanente Medical Group, associated with Kaiser Permanente) in 1990.  Top of Page
Herbert Meyers, O.D. Optometry 329 Conway Street Greenfield, MA 01301 413-774-6301	Dr. Meyers joined VMG Eye Care Department in July 2005.  He is a highly experienced Optometrist who had been practicing in the Springfield area for several years prior to joining VMG.  Dr. Meyers graduated from the New England School of Optometry and was a member of the faculty of the New England School of Optometry for 22 years.  He has particular interest in diabetes, HIV, macula degeneration and glaucoma.
