John Anderson, Jr. Ed.D, ABPP Behavioral Health 329 Conway Street Greenfield, MA 01301 413-774-6301	Dr. Anderson is a licensed psychologist and is board certified in Clinical Psychology.  He received his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, interned at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was a LEND fellow at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  Dr. Anderson has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings treating patients with anxiety, depression, AD/HD, learning problems, behavior disorders, and other common diagnoses.  His treatment method incorporates techniques from cognitive/behavioral, developmental and general systems approaches.  He has particular expertise in the areas of child, adolescent and family therapy.  Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Psychological Association, a Fellow of the Massachusetts Psychological Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology. Dr. Anderson has recently returned to the Pioneer Valley after many years working as a clinician, administrator, consultant, and advocate in the Boston health care system.

In addition to being a licensed clinician, she is licensed as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor. Elaine joined Valley Medical Group in January of 2009, and will be providing psychotherapy services in the Easthampton office. She has over 28 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings which includes schools, hospitals, private practice and employee assistance programs. Elaine specializes in women’s issues, couples work, bereavement, substance abuse and adult children of alcoholics. Her approach to treatment comes from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and incorporates warmth, compassion and respect.
Kathleen DeZenzo, LICSW Behavioral Health 31 Hall Drive Amherst, MA 01002 413-256-4441	Ms. DeZenzo received her Master of Social Work at Boston College Graduate School of Social Work and her BA in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.  She joined Valley Medical Group in September 2001 as a staff psychotherapist, providing both short and long term psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and couples.  She has had twenty years of clinical experience in hospital, nursing homes and outpatient settings working with a diverse client population.
Fran B. Fassler, LICSW Behavioral Health Care 329 Conway Street Greenfield, MA 01301 413-774-6301	Ms. Fassler received her Master of Social Work at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work majoring in individual casework utilizing an ecological perspective. Ms. Fassler joined Valley Medical Group in August of 2000, providing short and long term psychotherapy for a wide variety of behavioral health issues including treatments for depression, anxiety, adult survivors of childhood trauma, bereavement, divorce issues, marital therapy, parenting skills, adoption issues and life-transitions. Ms. Fassler sees children age 5 and up, adolescents, adults and elderly clients. She has a range of experience over the last 20+ years working with individuals and families in the Pioneer Valley in hospitals, schools, community mental health and private practice settings. Joel A. He received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Feinman has been an author, teacher and presenter on psychological issues to numerous academic and professional organizations. In addition to practicing at the Amherst Medical Center and Greenfield Health Center, he is the President and Associate Medical Director for Valley Medical Group as well as the Board Chair. Daniel J. Robert Hincks, LICSW Behavioral Health Care 70 Main Street Florence, MA 01062 413- 585-5431	Rob has over twenty years of experience as a psychotherapist treating adults and adolescents in private practice as well as in hospital, school, and outpatient settings.  After attending Clark University and then working the singer/songwriter circuit, he completed his BS in Psychology at Trinity College and received his MSW from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in 1982.  In addition to pre-graduate clinical positions at the Brattleboro Retreat and the Hartford Institute of Living, Rob completed internships at Greater Hartford Jewish Family Services and Elmcrest Psychiatric Institute.  His first ten years of post-graduate agency work was primarily with adolescents and families at a child guidance clinic and at Newington Children's Hospital.  From 1989-2000 he treated adults, teens, couples and families at Kaiser Permanente in East Hartford.  Patients from Connecticut also saw him in his private practice from 1982-2002.  He joined Valley Medical Group in 2001. Rob is comfortable working with diverse client populations in a style that is respectful, supportive, commonsense, solution-focused, actively-engaged, and sometimes humorous.  His approach to psychotherapy is "ecological" in that it embraces a client's familial, cultural, social, sexual, intellectual, physiological, and religious influences as context for current psychological and emotional development.  He treats patients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, loss, life transitions, relationship/family issues, school/work difficulties, and other presenting problems.  Having trained with Francine Shapiro, PhD in 1993 and 1995, he is an advanced practitioner of EMDR, an innovative approach to the treatment of anxiety disorders, including post-traumatic stress.   Rob also completed an advanced certificate program in Contemplative Clinical Practice at Smith College and welcomes clients who wish to integrate spiritual perspectives and mindfulness practice into their therapy work. Ms. Holliday is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and holds her graduate degree in Applied Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH.  Lynda offers extensive, clinical experience in the areas of disordered eating, grief counseling, adults in crisis, adolescent and adult survivors of trauma, women's issues, and transitional struggles. Lynda enjoys using humanistic, developmental and strength-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, stress reduction techniques and creativity in all of her clinical work. Ms. Holliday is an active member of the American Counseling Association  (ACA) as well as the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association (MaMHCA). He graduated with an A.B. in biology from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Chicago. Dr. Kriebel completed an internship in psychiatry and medicine at State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. He is presently affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Previously, Dr. Kriebel was Associate Chief of Outpatient Psychiatric Services at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He is a frequent lecturer and author on psychiatric issues including the treatment of depression. Dr. Kriebel is currently a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. She graduated from Wellesley College , with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Ms. Landry received the Wellesley College Community Service Award. She earned a Masters degree in Education in Counseling from Boston University . Ms. Landry completed two years post-Masters study in the Counseling Psychology program at Boston University . She has specialty training with children and adolescents, families, and in EMDR, an intervention for trauma recovery. Ms. Landry is a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Her special interests include cross-cultural studies, spirituality, mindfulness practice, and use of the expressive arts.

She has a B.S. in Zoology from Ohio University and received her medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Residency requirements were completed at the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center, where she was named Chief Resident and went on to complete a Fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. Her affiliations with psychiatric professional associations include membership in the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, she is an active participant in the American Psychiatric Association Practice Research Network. Bridgette Sacco-Laurens, Psy.D. Behavioral Health Care 31 Hall Drive Amherst, MA  01002 (413) 256-4441	Dr. Sacco-Laurens received her B.A. in Psychology from Marist College in 1989.  She was in the accelerated honors Master's program and received her Master of Arts degree in Community/Counseling Psychology the following year.  She trained for the substance abuse credential and worked with youth prevention, adult outpatient treatment, and inpatient treatment in Orange and Duchess counties, New York.     Dr. Sacco-Laurens received her Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree from Antioch New England Graduate School in 1999.  Her dissertation studied the effectiveness of outpatient therapy in private practice.  She completed practice in family therapy at the Brattleboro Family Institute.  She completed a combined specialty in pediatrics and adult outpatient treatment at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.  This include neuropsychology, developmental disabilities, brief therapy, mood and personality disorders and trauma treatment.  Dr. Sacco-Laurens has also completed training programs in DBT, ADHD treatment, eating disorders and PTSD through employment and post-doctoral training at the Brattleboro Retreat.  Dr. Sacco-Laurens works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.   Top of Page

She received her B.S. in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Vermont where she also earned a Masters of Science in Community Clinical Mental Health. Marie specializes in addictions, stress, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well as chronic health problem management, Depression and Bipolar disorders, anxiety, eating disorders and bereavement including  the loss of pets.
